I really really wanted you to know me better and I decided to dedicate this part of my blog to that purpose :). I am a European mix of Belarussian and Polish, but you probably know that already if you heard my accent when speaking on the phone or from all the grammar mistakes on my blog ;)... I am a wife to a big and strong Hawaiian man and a mama to a sweet 3 year old diva named Yana. I love music, dance, rhythm, art and everything in between... I love Converse, dogs, gummy worms, my favorite season is fall, my favorite food is sushi and Mocha coffee yogurt from Trader Joe's, I am responsible person, I'd rather listen than talk, just as I'd rather take pictures than have mine taken ;), my all time favorite TV shows are Friends and Sex and the City: they both reflect two different sides of my personality: dorky me when I am around my best friends and my feminine side when I am well... me. I love MAC cosmetics, alba hawaiian line of skin care, I know love is powerful, my favorite flowers are lilac, tulips and lilly of the valley, I like to be inspired, I like a challenge, I like digital, don't like paperwork ;), I like accessories but can't wear them, my favorite phrase is "Make it work", my favorite color is purple, my hair is naturally curly, my favorite perfume is Butterfly by Hanae Mori, I used to play accordion when I was a kid, I have a poet in me, I love Hawaii, I miss Europe, I prefer tea to coffee, I'd dry up without my family, best friends or photography...

You might remember Ms J. from our past shoot. So I was super happy to hear that she wants to do another shoot with me. She wanted to keep it totally simple and nude… There were no outfits involved, and it was fun to play around with posing and concentrate on her expression and simple beauty!
Ms C. is the most fun person I had a chance to meet in years! Her personality is as curly as her hair :). This is something me and her have in common and it’s not the only thing… She speaks Russian, and 4 or 5 more languages! She is super fun and open person, and the session was filled with fun and amazing energy!

Things have been absolutely busy for the past couple of weeks and the upcoming week is even crazier :)… When not shooting, I edit and spend the rest of the time by computer, answering emails, marketing or blog updating :)…
Between all that, I wanted to remind you to take a peak at my wedding and portrait photography blog from time to time.
As much as I LOVE Boudoir and reminding everyday women how gorgeous they are, I also LOVE shooting portraits. I think that bringing out a bit of personality in pictures is crucial for every photographer and just posing is not going to make it… There will always be something missing… So getting out there and interacting with so many people in stressful and crunch time situations is so helpful!
That is why you will often see a bit of classic portraiture in my boudoir shots and a bit of “sexy” in my wedding photography. So feel free to take a look at all the things that I create, and I hope you enjoy the Dott Photography World

Ms C. has the most amazing and inspiring personality! Also a present to herself this session was screaming: PERSONALITY! Amazing girl, with amazing and daring hair-do, beautiful attitude during the session, bubbles, roller-blades, mohawk, fishnets and cherries and a beautiful make-up and hair by Francesca - everything came together as a dream session for any photographer :). Meet Ms K.! Beautiful girl who did the I SEE SEXY session as a wedding present to her fiance. She is planning to get a beautiful leather album, which is a classic gift itself with some modern and very intimate twist inside :). I think this is the best gift he will ever receive :). Right?

One of the many things I love about my sessions is getting to know my girls, their personalities, habits, likes, styles etc. It is like having those soulful chats at each session! So even though there is so much information about different products out there on the web, the best reviews come from first hand… I wanted to share with you some of these products that were advised to me by my clients and were personally tried out by me, and I LOVE them so much, that I want to share!
The first one is Kai lotion that is just an amazing find with a beautiful tropical scent (very Tahitian or Hawaiian), and amazing absorbency, it leaves a bit of a glow and not heavy on the skin at all… If you are into lotions at all this one will be the one you get addicted to! And also if you love the Islands, this might be the perfect getaway in the middle of Vegas heat!
Second one is DDF acne scrub. ULTA and Sephora carry it too. It was advised to me by my client (Thank you Ms C.!), once she saw the troubles I had on my skin. I had the most perfect skin when I lived in Europe, but for some reason Vegas got under it and I was struggling with acne for a couple of years now… Until DDF scrub found me ;)… So this one is for the girls who have the same problems, it works! I promise, just be consistent! The price might seem a bit high for a scrub ($35) , but the bottle is HUGE and I think I have been using mine since February or so, and I still have a quarter of the bottle left after using it every day!
Exuviance daily creme (sold in ULTA too) is also amazing. If you for some reason don’t like the cream you are using, I would say give it a try!
I really wanted to share those, especially with the girls that have the same problems that me… I am not selling anything here, I treat my clients as my girlfriends! I love listening to their stories, mistakes and experiences and share mine in response. For some reason, I found we (girls) have a lot of similarities most of the time, which is very heartwarming :)…
Meet gorgeous Ms J.! This session was so much fun! First off, the reason for the session was the best reason you can have! Just because! Ms J. is turning 30 soon and wanted to do something for herself! Isn’t it the best gift you or your loved one can give to yourself? Just think about it: a fun and beautiful reminder of your youth and beauty! My clients always tell me (not the other way around ;)) that every woman must have their boudoir photos done at least once in her life! And I totally agree! Don’t you?
So Ms J. had the most fun outfits: beautiful lace bra and panty set in the funnest color ever: yellow! Also, she brought a tight leather jacket, tons of amazing accessories and her boxing gloves! I keep telling my clients you don’t need to raid Victoria’s Secret store once you book the session! Although it is one heck of a reason to do it :). But what I am saying you can find awesome ideas for the sexy look in your own closet or among gym equipment, or your boyfriend’s closet! As long as there is a bit of You in there: it will keep it so personal and fun during the shoot. Also, mix it up! Bring one sexy VS lingerie for one look, something from his closet for the second look and something that represents You for the third, and for the forth look I love to keep it real: you in tastefully done nude positions! And don’t forget the pin-up era! If you are thinking about it, just know it will call for the second look (hair and make-up). It is a must!

Okay, so I just came from a LONG and much needed vacation on the islands of Hawaii… It was one of those relaxing, warm vacations where it includes a lot of tanning, swimming, fun, cocktails by the pool, beach fun, bbqs, meeting with friends and family vacations, although I did had a chance to fall in love with Bikram Yoga while I was there… OMG it makes you feel so energized, and ladies, think about it if you have problems with cellulite: it will be gone within months if you do hot yoga! I swear!
Ok, so while in Hawaii me and my friend Shawn Fields with Black Tie Cinema from Honolulu did a mini boudoir session for gorgeous Ms S. She is an absolute beauty, especially knowing that she has 2 kids! So for my shoot in Hawaii I only wanted two locations: bamboo forest and of course beach… Well, after we went hiking looking for bamboo and after 1 mile long hike and no bamboo in sight, we decided to use another green treasure of Hawaii: ginger leaves that were right in front of us! For the second location, we found the empty beach but we got there a bit too late, so we were left with not less exciting view of Honolulu at night, beautiful model and 1 strobe that we totally abused by having so much fun playing with lighting techniques So here is how gorgeous Ms S. and how beautiful Hawaii are! Enjoy the view ;)!

I am back and up and running! I had a wonderful shoot with the beautiful Ms A. today, who did the I SEE SEXY session for her lovely hubby to be for his wedding present! Since he is in military, we incorporated pieces of his uniform, his favorite football jersey, and of course some girly girl sexy outfits. Ms A. did such a god job on modeling and she has the most amazing hair! Here is the sneak a peek from today’s shoot
