Who is Olga?

I really really wanted you to know me better and I decided to dedicate this part of my blog to that purpose :). I am a European mix of Belarussian and Polish, but you probably know that already if you heard my accent when speaking on the phone or from all the grammar mistakes on my blog ;)...  I am a wife to a big and strong Hawaiian man and a mama to a sweet 3 year old diva named Yana. I love music, dance, rhythm, art and everything in between... I love Converse, dogs, gummy worms, my favorite season is fall, my favorite food is sushi and Mocha coffee yogurt from Trader Joe's, I am responsible person, I'd rather listen than talk, just as I'd rather take pictures than have mine taken ;), my all time favorite TV shows are Friends and Sex and the City: they both reflect two different sides of my personality: dorky me when I am around my best friends and my feminine side when I am well... me. I love MAC cosmetics, alba hawaiian line of skin care, I know love is powerful, my favorite flowers are lilac, tulips and lilly of the valley, I like to be inspired, I like a challenge, I like digital, don't like paperwork ;), I like accessories but can't wear them, my favorite phrase is "Make it work", my favorite color is purple, my hair is naturally curly, my favorite perfume is Butterfly by Hanae Mori, I used to play accordion when I was a kid, I have a poet in me, I love Hawaii, I miss Europe, I prefer tea to coffee, I'd dry up without my family, best friends or photography...

There is much more, but this blog isn't about me...

Love to all,

Olga

I SEE SEXY Boudoir Photography in Las Vegas | Tips for your next shoot

Okay, continuing the topic of prepping for your next Boudoir photo session, I wanted to talk about… Hair. Yep, it is one of the best accessories for your lingerie, nude or semi-nude photo :) . I love BIG long sexy curly/wavy hair.  And I think celebrity photographers join me with that idea too ;) . I don’t know, there is something about big hair that makes model look skinnier, more petite to the eye. I think it is connected with an optical balance between head and body.  The bigger  your head looks, the skinnier the bottom part seems.

So there are a couple of options for making it work: 1. you can be BORN that way and can be the object of ahhh and ooh and wow coming from people like me ;) ; 2. WIG: some wigs are fun :) , a funky color wig (pink/blue),bunch of balloons, lollipop and you in a pair of cute funky boyshorts: awesome recipe for a cool fun shot, I’d love it, but it’s not up to everyone’s taste; 3. or my and everybody’s favorite: HAIR EXTENSIONS. Everyone seems to like them and use them not only for the photo shoots but in everyday life. The most optimal would be human hair extensions which are I admit pricy, but I think it is a good investment if you are a go out/party girl and would use them more than once, but I think fake hair extensions might be super ok and fun for the session only, especially if you think you won’t use them again. They are like 1/10 of a cost of human hair, but the only thing: they won’t be as good with hair styling products as the human hair.

But don’t worry: my favorite make-up artist Francesca with BobbiePinBeauty.com will help you look your best, no matter what your hair is. And just to be clear, it’s not like I want everyone to go ahead and buy hair extensions, I love cute short haircuts… What I am saying, if you really want to go for it, and have a medium long/long hair, think about this option, because I think it is so cool to do it, and if you are only panning to do a boudoir session once, do it right… Now, down below are some examples of celebrities’ photos where they used hair extensions…
