Wow what a session! I just stumbled upon these photos and a video of Gisele Bundchen shot by Nino Munoz for Koren Vogue… This may be the Perfect inspiration for military wifes out there. Once again (my favorite model) Gisele showed her professional and fun attitude and movement during the session. Take a look!
There seems to be a belief that the better the photographer, the less work it is for the model, well, partly it is true, but if a good shot was just a matter of great photographer, we wouldn’t have top models like Gisele, Alessandra, or Kate, would we? What I am trying to say, is that you, my client will have your home work to do before the session… Whether it is to browse and research for the perfect outfits (perfect here is perfectly subjective as to what your preferences and figure are), get a spray tan, mock yourself in the mirror searching for that perfect facial expression that would show you, REAL, not mad, scared or cheesy, or put together the perfect playlist on your iPhone/iPod/iPad, so it makes you feel super relaxed and daring during the session. It takes guts to do the boudoir shoot, it really does, and it might feel nervous at first, because you have never done it before, but you will see that the session is like an afternoon-out with your girlfriends, chatting about make-up, celebrity gossiping or laughing about random stuff. You will not only feel comfortable in your own skin, but do it among people you just met
, which might be empowering and reaffirming experience for many! Like I said, it takes guts, and you should be proud of yourself if you decided to do the boudoir shoot! Trust your photographer, whoever he or she is, and have fun!
LOVE to ALL,
Olga
